Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Crooked Wing' integrates industrial and ecclesiastical aesthetics through its use of unconventional instruments, field recordings, bells, and pipe organs alongside electronic sound design. Produced by frontman Jack Barnett with Graham Sutton, the album balances moments of fragile beauty with chilling brutality, creating a soundscape that feels both ancient and eerily contemporary. The songwriting explores a juxtaposition of the modern and old worlds, resulting in a work noted for its craft, discipline, and emotional accessibility.
