Returning after a six-year absence, the English twin-brother duo presents an incredibly stark, beautiful, and deeply unsettling art-pop record. Heavily inspired by the dark eroticism of David Lynch and the recent loss of their mother, the compositions rely on booming industrial percussion, ethereal choirs, and lush string arrangements. It is a masterful, highly cinematic exploration of beauty existing within brutality.
