Glean

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling the best material from the prolific Brooklyn duo's ambitious 2015 Dial-A-Song project, this album is a wonderfully eclectic, remarkably consistent return to form. 'Glean' perfectly balances incredibly catchy, upbeat alternative rock instrumentation with profoundly strange, deeply existential, and darkly humorous lyrical themes. It serves as a wildly playful, surprisingly melancholic, and undeniably melodic entry in their vast catalog.
