Album Notes & Community Reviews
Emerging adjacent to California's Paisley Underground scene, this debut album distinguishes itself through a harsher, more abrasive take on psychedelic influences. 'Exploring the Axis' utilizes twin-guitar dissonance and desolate, desert-inspired lyrical imagery, setting it apart from the more melodic jangle pop of their peers. The record laid vital groundwork for the burgeoning indie rock movement with its tense, atmospheric musicianship.
