Thin White Rope significantly darkened the jangle of the Paisley Underground, injecting their neo-psychedelic sound with the harsh, unforgiving atmosphere of the American desert. Guy Kyser's strained, paranoid vocals narrate bleak tales of isolation and natural violence over violently intertwined, dual-guitar squalls. 'Moonhead' is a lonely, aggressively atmospheric masterpiece of post-punk and desert rock.
