Album Notes & Community Reviews
Arriving after nearly a decade of studio silence, the Colorado-based veterans deliver an uncompromising masterclass in the Rock in Opposition tradition. The highly academic compositions are staggeringly complex, weaving atonal melodies, bizarre rhythmic meter changes, and Elaine di Falco's theatrical vocals into a dense, cinematic tapestry. It is a profoundly pessimistic and difficult record, addressing themes of ecological collapse and human failing through masterful avant-garde rock instrumentation.
