Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued at home as 'Varomba Kuvaromba', the album reached the world as 'Corruption' after Chris Blackwell signed Mapfumo to his Mango imprint. On the title track, sung in English against the backdrop of government scandals in Harare, Mapfumo attacked the corruption of the regime he had helped bring to power.
