Album Notes & Community Reviews

The six long tracks of 'Ndangariro' were among the Blacks Unlimited's first statements after independence, and several of them trade the old urgency for languid grooves and even love songs. The guitar playing keeps its rapid hunt and peck imitation of the mbira throughout, a signature carried over from the wartime singles.
