Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reduced to a core trio, the band enlisted producer Alex Sadkin to craft an immaculate, globally ambitious pop masterpiece driven by massive synthesizer hooks and global percussion. Spawning defining MTV hits like 'Hold Me Now' and 'Doctor! Doctor!', the record perfectly encapsulated the colorful, maximalist aesthetic of the Second British Invasion. It became their commercial zenith, topping charts worldwide and dominating the mid-80s pop landscape.
