Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written primarily while frontman Adam Gontier was in a rehabilitation facility, this sophomore effort heavily explores themes of addiction, isolation, and recovery. The angst-driven alternative rock hooks and aggressive post-grunge riffing propelled multiple singles to the top of the mainstream rock charts. It solidified their status as titans of 2000s radio rock.
