Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Sonic Youth frontman continues his exploration of sprawling, avant-garde guitar rock, collaborating closely with My Bloody Valentine's Deb Googe and longtime drummer Steve Shelley. The record features extensive, hypnotic instrumental jams characterized by his signature alternate tunings and waves of chiming feedback. It balances peaceful, meditative acoustic passages with the ferocious noise-rock dissonance that defined his early career.
