Stepping away from the electric squall of Sonic Youth, Thurston Moore employs delicate string arrangements and acoustic fingerpicking, courtesy of producer Beck. 'Demolished Thoughts' presents a mature, autumnal reflection on aging and transition, underscored by a serene, melancholic beauty.
