Album Notes & Community Reviews

The virtuosic Armenian pianist seamlessly integrates his nation's ancient folkloric melodies with complex modern jazz improvisation and heavy, progressive rock rhythmic structures. Utilizing electronic elements, vocal beatboxing, and shifting odd-time signatures, 'Shadow Theater' pushes the boundaries of contemporary European jazz fusion into highly cinematic territories.
