Album Notes & Community Reviews
Teaming extensively with guitarist Bill Frisell and cellist Hank Roberts, the acclaimed saxophonist crafted an incredibly tense, boundary-pushing jazz suite. The compositions deftly integrate elements of experimental rock and modern classical dissonance, frequently collapsing into sparse, funereal improvisations before erupting with furious collective energy.
