Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on his own Seroma label during a period of prolific independence, the 'father of Brazilian soul' fully embraced the slick, synthesized boogie sound sweeping the global clubs. 'Nuvens' merges heavy, infectious disco basslines with lush brass arrangements and Maia's unmistakably powerful, emotive vocal delivery. It serves as a definitive classic of early 1980s Brazilian dancefloor culture.
