Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary godfather of Brazilian soul rebounds magnificently with this vibrant collection of synthesized funk and boogie. 'O descobridor dos sete mares' embraces the slick, dancefloor-oriented production of the 1980s without sacrificing the intense, passionate grit of Tim Maia's legendary vocal performances. The title track became an absolute anthem, rejuvenating his career in the modern era.
