Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acoustic ensemble flawlessly intertwines classical instrumentation with complex jazz improvisation and global folk traditions. 'Helium' prominently features accordion, violin, and guitar, creating a playful, highly cinematic sound reminiscent of Eastern European and flamenco roots. A notable collaboration with Tom Waits on the title track underscores the trio's eclectic and theatrical nature.
