Album Notes & Community Reviews
The veteran English chamber pop ensemble, led by Stuart A. Staples's distinctively rich baritone, returns to a remarkably warm, stripped-back sound. Recorded quickly across several live studio sessions, the album relies on lush, cinematic arrangements and deep, melancholic romanticism. It stands as an elegant, incredibly graceful late-career highlight.
