Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran English band accompanies their tenth studio album with a collaborative short film project, commissioning different directors to provide visuals for each track. Sonically, the record is incredibly sleek, leaning heavily into brass arrangements, afrobeat-tinged percussion, and Stuart A. Staples's unmistakable, crooning baritone. It features a stunning, sorrowful duet with the late Lhasa de Sela, originally recorded prior to her passing in 2010.
