Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Minnesota-based trio delivers an incredibly frantic, remarkably technical interpretation of modern emo on their highly energetic sophomore release. 'Pleasant Living' brilliantly features incredibly complex, finger-tapped guitar melodies that perfectly contrast Dylan Mattheisen's desperate, frequently shouted vocal deliveries regarding social anxiety and heartbreak. The album is a wonderfully bittersweet, deeply melodic, and fiercely passionate post-hardcore record.
