Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bursting onto the scene with vibrant, unapologetic energy, the Atlanta trio's debut album perfectly bridged the gap between R&B vocal harmonies and hip-hop swagger. 'Ooooooohhh...On the TLC Tip' features tight, funky New Jack Swing production orchestrated largely by Dallas Austin. The record established the group's signature aesthetic of female empowerment, sex-positivity, and colorful, oversized fashion, yielding multiple massive chart hits.
