Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally recorded independently for a mere $250, the Santa Barbara quartet's debut caught the attention of Columbia Records, who reissued it essentially untouched. The remarkably mature songwriting and earnest, acoustic-driven alternative rock sound laid the groundwork for their massive success in the 1990s.
