Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Kayo Dot frontman steps entirely away from experimental metal to craft an incredibly soothing, profoundly warm solo excursion into delicate art rock and slowcore. Anchored by highly ethereal vocal performances and sweeping, post-rock-adjacent acoustic arrangements, the record deeply reflects the pastoral tranquility of dense autumn forests. It serves as a beautifully lush, remarkably progressive singer-songwriter achievement.
