Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a distinct pivot away from traditional pop structures, 'Initiation' finds Todd Rundgren heavily experimenting with synthesizing technology and complex cosmic philosophy. The album's second half consists entirely of 'A Treatise on Cosmic Fire,' an expansive, side-long electronic suite composed almost exclusively on synthesizers and keyboards.
