Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake, vocalist Cliff Bennett recruited a new backing lineup for the band's second and final effort. The record continues their gritty, riff-heavy assault, weaving blues-based structures with intensely dark, acidic overtones and aggressive rhythms. It was notably accompanied by another highly controversial, surreal cover designed by the renowned Hipgnosis art collective.
