Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the fertile San Francisco punk underground, the group delivered a profoundly gloomy, guitar-heavy debut that helped shape the emerging deathrock subgenre. 'Sea of Unrest' trades the speed of hardcore for sprawling, feedback-drenched dirges and bleak, atmospheric dissonance. It offers an intensely cathartic and menacing listening experience that resonated deeply with the burgeoning West Coast goth scene.
