Night of the Blade

Released at the tail end of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, this sophomore effort perfectly balances aggressive, twin-guitar riffing with highly melodic, arena-friendly vocal hooks. The recording notably features vocals by Vic Wright, who was brought in late in the production process to replace original singer Alan Marsh. It is widely considered the creative peak of the band's catalog.
