Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring an extraordinary international rhythm section, 'Almost Green' highlights Tomasz Sta艅ko's distinctively raw, mournful trumpet tone. The sessions balance free jazz volatility with a dark, spacious European lyricism, heavily shaped by Edward Vesala's abstract percussion and Palle Danielsson's fluid basslines. It captures the Polish master at a crucial point in refining his signature avant-garde romanticism.
