Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New Haven-based experimental duo delves deeply into microtonal tuning and traditional string instrumentation on 'Bones for Time'. The album constructs monolithic, scraping drones using fiddles, contrabass, and subtle tape manipulation, resulting in an archaic yet thoroughly avant-garde soundscape. It evokes a haunting, ritualistic atmosphere reminiscent of deep American folk horror.
