Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing TONTO (The Original New Timbral Orchestra)鈥攁 massive, custom-built multitimbral polyphonic synthesizer鈥攖his duo revolutionized the capabilities of electronic music. The lush, warm, and highly melodic synthetic textures demonstrated that electronic music could be deeply emotive, completely diverging from the colder, academic avant-garde. The record famously caught the attention of Stevie Wonder, leading the duo to co-produce his legendary 1970s masterpieces.
