Album Notes & Community Reviews

This critically revered collaboration pairs the legendary vocal phrasing of Tony Bennett with the intensely lyrical, introspective piano work of Bill Evans. Stripped entirely of standard rhythm section accompaniment, the intimate duet format requires immense rhythmic interplay and mutual intuition, yielding highly emotional, definitive interpretations of the Great American Songbook.
