Album Notes & Community Reviews
Standing as a high-water mark for the 1980s instrumental guitar boom, MacAlpine's second album perfectly balances dazzling neoclassical fretwork with lush, keyboard-heavy production. Featuring prominent guest appearances from George Lynch and Jeff Watson, the intricate compositions prioritize strong melodic phrasing over pure speed.
