Album Notes & Community Reviews
'La croix' is a stark, melancholic solo venture from the Sol Invictus frontman. Relying almost entirely on sparse acoustic guitar and deeply mournful string arrangements, the album helped solidify the sorrowful, neoclassical aesthetic that would become a hallmark of the burgeoning neofolk movement.
