Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chaz Bear makes a surprising, wildly eclectic pivot away from synth-funk into the hazy, highly nocturnal world of cloud rap and emo-rap introspection. Retaining his signature pristine, mellow production, the 808-heavy beats underscore deeply melancholic vocal performances that occasionally flirt with pop-punk nostalgia. It is an incredibly soft, wonderfully quirky reinvention of modern alternative R&B.
