Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking a seven-year hiatus, the Chicago post-rock pioneers return with a deeply eclectic and surprisingly vocal-heavy seventh studio album. Initially born from a suite composed for the City of Chicago, the record weaves through heavy analog synthesizers, jazz-fusion drumming, and features guest vocals from Yo La Tengo's Georgia Hubley. It represents a quirky, highly textured evolution of their foundational instrumental sound.
