Album Notes & Community Reviews

Opting for a notably heavier and more guitar-driven sound, the veteran session musicians largely abandoned their signature polished pop for an aggressive hard rock aesthetic. 'Kingdom of Desire' features guitarist Steve Lukather taking over primary lead vocal duties following significant lineup changes. Tragically, the release was overshadowed by the sudden death of founding drummer Jeff Porcaro shortly before the ensuing tour.
