Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released under a phonetic misspelling of his surname, this is the debut instrumental album by legendary producer and songwriter Allen Toussaint. The effervescent piano playing perfectly captures the rollicking, syncopated street rhythms that came to define the classic New Orleans R&B sound.
