Album Notes & Community Reviews

Townes Van Zandt's fourth album beautifully integrates subtle string arrangements and delicate country instrumentation into his stark acoustic confessions. 'Delta Momma Blues' is wonderfully mellow and fiercely poetic, balancing deeply bittersweet, highly introspective singer-songwriter reflections with a remarkably melodic, beautifully pastoral Americana atmosphere.
