Album Notes & Community Reviews

Townes Van Zandt's 'Flyin' Shoes' captures the legendary songwriter at his most mature and melancholic, blending outlaw country grit with beautifully pastoral folk-rock. Produced by Chips Moman, the album surrounds Van Zandt's profound, intensely poetic longing with remarkably warm, mellow acoustic arrangements that amplify his deeply bittersweet storytelling.
