Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Chemistry of Consciousness' is a hyper-aggressive, twenty-eight-minute assault of old-school thrash metal from mastermind Joel Grind. The record incorporates a heavy dose of crust punk and d-beat hardcore, resulting in an incredibly fast, raw, and relentlessly energetic sound heavily indebted to 1980s extreme metal aesthetics. Mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou, the production perfectly captures the band's gritty, chainsaw-like guitar tone.
