Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tracey Thorn recorded 'A Distant Shore' while still a member of the Marine Girls. Sparse acoustic arrangements support introspective lyrics about love and loss. Cherry Red release established her distinctive voice in the early 1980s indie folk and pop scene.
