Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut from this short-lived British band is a masterpiece of nocturnal melancholia. 'Heavy Black Frame' is a quintessential slowcore and sadcore record, defined by its incredibly slow pace, sparse arrangements, and Paul Anderson's gentle, mournful vocals. It's a lonely, somber, and deeply atmospheric album that stands as a classic of the genre.
