Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heavily shaped by the harrowing near-fatal swimming pool accident of drummer Neil Primrose and escalating geopolitical anxiety, the Scottish group abandoned their sunny pop optimism. The decidedly darker, more introspective songwriting directly addressed the invasion of Iraq alongside profound personal turbulence.
