The Invisible Band

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting with producer Nigel Godrich, Travis delivered an incredibly polished and understated collection of acoustic-driven pop that dominated British radio at the turn of the century. 'The Invisible Band' leans heavily into gentle, autumnal melancholia, focusing on Fran Healy's earnest songwriting and soaring, vulnerable vocal hooks. The record helped solidify the blueprint for the massive wave of soft, emotional post-Britpop that followed.
