Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heralded as a return to form for the Bristol trip-hop pioneer, the album consciously strips back the erratic experimentation of his 2000s output in favor of claustrophobic, smoke-filled grooves. Establishing his own independent imprint for the release, Tricky leaned back into deeply whispered vocals, creeping basslines, and sparse, atmospheric downtempo loops.
