Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating to Jamaica to distance himself from the burgeoning Bristol scene, the producer crafted an intensely claustrophobic and paranoid sonic environment. The fractured, dub-infected beats actively deconstruct the commercialized expectations of the genre he helped pioneer. Martina Topley-Bird's detached, airy vocals provide a chilling counterpoint to the deeply anxious, confrontational production.
