Album Notes & Community Reviews
A collaborative project between the Australian jazz trio Triosk and German electronic producer Jan Jelinek, '1+3+1' fuses live, improvised jazz instrumentation with Jelinek's signature glitchy, loop-based electronics. The result is an atmospheric and minimalist soundscape that blurs the lines between electroacoustic performance and digital processing. The album was created by Jelinek manipulating and remixing recordings of the trio's improvisations.
