Album Notes & Community Reviews

Self-released by an obscure German ensemble, 'Just a Try' is a purely instrumental progressive rock oddity. The album bypasses standard verse-chorus structures to deliver sprawling, improvisational jams driven by heavily distorted Hammond organs and complex guitar interplay. It is a rugged, unpolished artifact representing the D.I.Y. fringe of the 1970s krautrock and prog scenes spilling into the 1980s.
