Album Notes & Community Reviews

The bombastic debut from the Finnish ensemble effectively coined the term that became their signature genre. 'Battle Metal' aggressively integrates traditional folk instrumentation, sweeping symphonic orchestration, and cinematic Viking narratives into a highly triumphant, energetic heavy metal framework.
