Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their sixth studio album, 'The Price of Admission', Turnpike Troubadours broadened their creative scope, with frontman Evan Felker engaging in a more collaborative, feeling-driven songwriting process alongside artists like John Fullbright and Ketch Secor. This lyrical expansion was captured at Sunset Sound by producer Shooter Jennings, who favored an instinctual recording approach to preserve the band鈥檚 live dynamic. The result is a thematically cohesive work that balances its detailed storytelling with contributions from bandmates Kyle Nix and RC Edwards, reinforcing the group's established sonic identity.
